Oil painting on canvas, representing a pair of bucolic landscapes of Tuscan origin, dating from the second half of the 17th century. One landscape shows a luxuriant countryside, cut in the middle by a stream; on the bank, in the foreground, are a flock of sheep and cattle drinking, next to a young woman washing clothes and a standing boy looking at her. In the other landscape, a shepherd lying down smokes a pipe, a flock of sheep is present and, further on, a girl milks a cow with the help of a boy holding the animal. Typical of 17th century landscape painting, there is a bucolic atmosphere of serenity and peace, emanating from nature. Original frames from the period.
