Small Table

A rare small table, originally from Lombardy, in the Brescia area, dating back to the late second half of the seventeenth century.

The top, carved from a single piece of wood using a gouge, is elliptical in shape and unusual in size, with a moulded edge carved into the solid wood. The structure is supported by Lira-shaped legs, connected by elegant moulded struts.
