Pair of Venice armchairs

A pair of carved and gilded wooden armchairs of Italian origin, specifically from the Veneto region of Venice, dating from the Baroque period in the mid-18th century.

The armrests are curved and end in volutes, while the legs are also curved and adorned with leaf carvings and gilded volutes. The backrests and seats are shaped and upholstered.
