Group of eight 18th century Venetian armchairs

Group of eight walnut armchairs with openwork back and carved scrolls with a shell valve in the centre.

The armrests are wavy ending in an ornamental curl motif.

The whole rests on supports and the connecting bands are shaped carved and decorated with plant motifs.

Italian provenance, Venice, dating from the middle part of the 18th century.
