Chest of drawers in walnut and walnut burl, 18th century

Walnut and walnut-root chest of drawers, Brescia provenance, dating from the early part of the 18th century.

The cabinet consists of a top inlaid with a geometric motif with the family crest in the centre.

The front is made up of four drawers one on top of the other, all with walnut-root filleted and inlaid with a geometric motif.

Notched inlaid "shoulders" and squared sides with central inlay.

The whole rests on moulded fluted supports.
