19th-century Vienna gilt wooden clock
Wall clock with gilt frame, from Vienna, dating from the Biedermeier period, first quarter of the 19th century. The front is marked by a worked frame with a pure gold finish with a glass front door. Inside is a movement with square brass plate, spring winding, solar pendulum on wire suspension, chime of the hours on two-tone spirals, enamelled dial, Roman hour scale with metal appliqués.
