Lombard sofa 19th century

Lombard sofa in lacquered and gilded wood, dating from the Milanese Napoleonic era. It has a lacquer wax stamp on the bottom of the seat hull. The seat and back are upholstered in red silk with rosette decoration. The curved backrest is embellished with fine leaf decorations. The armrests, flared in shape, are adorned with a large open leaf and end on a plinth from which the lion's paws depart. The apron is straight and decorated with a large frieze with geometric decorations.
