Four Lombard chairs 19th century
Four Lombard chairs 19th century
Four Lombard chairs in lacquered and gilded wood, dating back to the Napoleonic period in Milan, have a lacquer wax stamp on the bottom of the seat hull. The seat and back, upholstered in red silk with rose decorations, lend elegance to the ensemble. The backrest, characterised by a sinuous line at the top, is centred by a leaf decoration, while the straight apron is decorated in the centre with a frieze in the style of the period (Empire). The legs are tapered and end in lion paw feet.
